Members of this surfactant series show excellent rapid wetting properties, relatively low foaming levels and good detergency and versatility as emulsifiers, dispersant and solubilizers. Tda surfactants are ideally suited for textile scouring and dyeing, industrial and institutional and specialities. The lower ethoxylate members of the series are also used as chemical intermediates for conversion to anionic phosphate, sulfate and carboxylate surfactants.
